Vang has been a recipient of The Loft Mentor Series for Fiction (2019), Mirrors and Windows Children’s Writing Fellowship (2024) and the Minnesota State Arts Board Creative Individuals Grant (2025). She completed her Master’s of Creative Writing and Publishing from the University of St. Thomas. Her writing can be found in Ramsey County Library’s anthology, This Was 2020, the Summit Avenue Review and Hmong Museum’s Digital Zine.
